So this bit of bling is not for my bike, but for my riding gear (vest/ jacket).
A little while ago there was a post in regards to name patches, so others could easily remember you at meet and bleats.

This got me thinking. I like to do things a little different from others. So after a little research I came across a site for "Eazypatches". This site promised they could make custom patches in small batches. Most sites want a minimal 100 ordered.
So I sent them an email with an attached picture (something I liked) and some idea of what I was after. This was promptly replied to with some concept art for the proposed patch. Included was also a quote on the costs involved. 5 patches for $140, and 10 patches for $160.
Now this is not cheap, but I figured getting 10 would work out at $16 a pop for a totally unique patch. Some mass produced patches can cost that. Getting that amount would also mean I have that patch for any use I may have in the future. So I made the order and paid the costs. At this stage I received an email with a picture of the proposed patch as it would look in thread. A few minor colour changes were requested and the go ahead given.
Less than 2 weeks later I received a package (from the US) containing my patches. However there was not the 10 patches I had ordered
..... No instead there was 14 of my new patches.....
.
So for my trouble and $160 I ended up with the following.
Original concept art of the proposed patch- now used as my custom forum avatar![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)
14 patches (at $11.43 per patch).
I am more than pleased with the finished result. Below are some pics to enjoy.
