Went to Camberwell to meet a friend for a catch up and decided to ride in for ease of parking, when the owner of the cafe told me that my bike was on its side. Thinking he was joking I ignored him for ten seconds, but noticed the seriousness on his face. Yes! Some f***er obviously tried to move it and couldn't hold it and lay it on it side, bending my handbrake lever and foot brake lever. No paint damage, pipes are fine, nothing broken other than my heart. Its an easy fix but the pain I'm feeling inside is like a part of me was hurt. Its an unusual feeling hard to explain, but Jennifer goes with me everywhere, and to see her damaged and to know she was somehow violated by a stranger, its really getting to me. I don't know if it was the wind in my eyes or my heartbreaking that caused my eye to tear up, because I couldn't protect her. I failed her. Thank god for this forum, Maree, my partner, doesn't understand my pain. Thanks for being there guys. Stay strong! Found a card in my letter box from the Camberwell police station. Hopefully they have the details of the arsehole who dropped my bike, for it was park right outside a restaurant that seated people outside, and maybe someone took there rego. Fingers crossed. Still haven't heard from my mechanic. Cheers

Well! seems that a witness rang the police and gave all of the perpetrators details. Looks like I may get some peace of mind after all. You know! I'm past the anger stage and at the forgiving stage. No amount of money can get me past the hurt stage, I'm scarred for life. Cheers all

Good news! About time someone took some details and cared about a fellow persons belonging or feelings. Too many times people just turn a blind eye

Picked her up today, and she feels good under me. When I twist her handle, she screams out, give me more. Oh yeah! Now I have to put up with the insurance company and making the claim against the person concerned. As if that is going to go well.

G'Day Puffy, Great to hear that you and Jennifer are back on the road. Even better news that you know who the culprit was and can at least get some reparation. Cheers SADDO
