Went to Camberwell to meet a friend for a catch up and decided to ride in for ease of parking, when the owner of the cafe told me that my bike was on its side. Thinking he was joking I ignored him for ten seconds, but noticed the seriousness on his face. Yes! Some f***er obviously tried to move it and couldn't hold it and lay it on it side, bending my handbrake lever and foot brake lever. No paint damage, pipes are fine, nothing broken other than my heart. Its an easy fix but the pain I'm feeling inside is like a part of me was hurt. Its an unusual feeling hard to explain, but Jennifer goes with me everywhere, and to see her damaged and to know she was somehow violated by a stranger, its really getting to me. I don't know if it was the wind in my eyes or my heartbreaking that caused my eye to tear up, because I couldn't protect her. I failed her. Thank god for this forum, Maree, my partner, doesn't understand my pain. Thanks for being there guys.

Total bullshit someone touching the bike. Workmate has same problem. Although he rides a Kwacka Ninja crotch rocket he is still a fellow biker. 3 times his bike has been moved by a cager so they can get a parking spot.
I hope your baby is feeling better once you give it some special care. Feel your pain.

When I woke up, reality hit me and I nearly cried like one. Don't think I'll ever get over it until Jen is back in shape. First Phone call today is to my specialist to make her an appointment to get her back in shape. Rick, from the TMRC in F'T'Gully is the only person I trust with my bike. I know he'll care for her, I may have to leave her in over night for observation in case of any complications. I'm just happy that she hadn't been scared, not a fan of plastic surgery. Cheers

Mate sorry to hear. A bit of tlc and she will be as good as new. Thanks Shane, rang Rick first thing this morning and he can't fit me in. I'm going to be without my bike for a while. Its like looking at a sick family pet and I can't help her. Cable ties won't help this time mate. I thought of selling her, but I would be betraying our love for each other. Do I sound ill?

Was thinking about an alarm, but its to late once its on its side. Even thought of selling it to save anymore heartache, but that would be abusing her trust. Love her to much. Thanks Corky.

Man that sucks, I am lucky and mine gets garaged at work. As I have five minutes to spare I will share with you if I may an amusing tale of moving somebody else's bike. Back when I was a younger man I worked as a chippy doing office renos. Anyways one morning we were down in a basement car park unloading a truck when this pretty young thing walks down the driveway and asks for assistance as has dropped a bike. So me being the take charge guy I am I quickly offer to assist before any of those other boys can get their mouths back shut. So up to the free bike parking spot on the street which is a little bit of space big enough about 10 bikes. Well this silly little thing decided that if she moved a bike or two she could fit her scooter in easy as. What she didn't figure is that a ( don't remember what sort of ninja sux double triple it was) is a dam site heavier than a scooter. Now wouldn't you believe it just as I am impressing the hell of this chick by lifting this heavy bike on my own when I spot the owner storming across the road baying for blood. Good thing I had four guys that decided that unloading the truck could wait and they would come see if they could help me help the girl just as this guy was getting in my face. Any how's managed calm him down enough to do the insurance details swap with the babe. Never did get a chance to tune her just went back to unloading trucks and thinking what could have been. Cheers Azza
