Thought I would just share the following as a general discussion... Over the last few weeks I have read some ideas as to the direction of SRA, name changes, rules, agm agenda's etc etc.. The one thing that attracted my attention to SRA (apart from the bikes) was the friendly relaxed laidback attitude of the riders I met and this forum. There was also no talk of opinions or judgements on anyone. Rather a motivation to support each other and meet up as often as we can and talk bikes. We have had some wild newbies in QLD that soon departed when we rallied together as a group and that shows me we are proud of our SRA the way it is. I support all who support SRA (Rusty's SRA) but I am a touch thrown when it comes to change, and worried... So in sharing my thoughts I put forward the following AGM discussion topic... Point 1: Lets keep Shadow Riders THE WAY IT IS... friendly, fun, informative and relaxed... and with the common interest being our BIKES

My Grandad had a good saying "He who fiddles,F#*ks". Bless him If the s.r.a is working for the majority the minority that aren,t happy will leave. If I want drama I,ll talk to the wife or watch o.c.c reruns.

I've only just joined after lurking for a few days, but I like what I see.
I belong to a couple of caravaning forums, did belong to 4, on 2 of them there were so many pi$$ng contests about I know better than you about this or that, it really nagged me and drove me away.
stayed on one forum for great topics re caravaning
the other we're just a bunch of mates (some we have not met yet) who have a like mind about caravans and travelling but we just have fun, from what I see much like here
This forum doesn't need to change as far as I can see

I'm with MRC, when I met George & Shane on my second toy run, they were a couple of like minded riders enjoying there bikes and a laugh. No bullshit no rules on how thing have to be. That's what attracted me. Rules mean hard f#%*ing work. Not for everyone. cheers
