Now I am not wanting to start a pissing war on the legalities of filtering, I just wish to make those that do filter a tad more aware. This arvo when coming home in the early peak commute the traffic was a bit heavenly than usual. As I come over the hill to come down Gympie rd through Kedron I spot the flashing lights in the breakdown lane at the bottom of the hill next to the ford dealership. So no filtering for me to day as it is plane to see it is a cop car and an ambo tendering to some one on the footpath. As I slowly crawl down the road I am thinking bet it was some poor bugger on a bike. Sure enough as I get closer there is a bike on the footpath and some poor bastard with bike boots on lying on the stretcher with three ambos working on him. Now this is the second time I have seen this type of accident in the last six months, last one was same area, same conditions other side of the road. I am assuming old mate was either filtering or running down the breakdown lane, as is common in this spot and forgot that people leave gaps in the traffic to allow other vehicles to make their way into side streets. What gets me is the poor buggers most likely travel the same roads every day and know where these spots are and with the excitement of getting through the traffic forget about the cross roads. Anyhow next time you are filtering "like a boss" remover the side roads. Oh and old mate didn't look dead so here's hoping he comes good soon. Cheers Azza

Aero,s are too wide for most filtering, so I,m a bit picky when and how, mainly at lights and at the roundabouts while the cagers are parked.
