On the Australia day weekend my wife and I went for a trip to Hobart. In the constitution dock area I met 79 year old Brian COOK who rides a Shadow 750. Brian usually rides with his 85 yr old mate. When I spoke to him about registering with SRA, he said that even if he did have a computer he wouldn't even know how to turn it on let alone how to use it. Anyway for those who have never been to Hobart let me share some photos. This is constitution dock area, where all the yachts dock after the Syd/Melb to Hobart races. Of course a trip to Hobart always leads to the iconic Salamanca market. and the Cascade brewery Then a view of Hobart from Mt Wellington Hobart also has the oldest established pub in Australia and in the Historical town of Richmond the oldest bridge in Australia The Bridge looks crooked because of the shadows in the arches. Richmond main street And the Richmond pub Back to Hobart wharf area A great way to spend a long weekend.

Great pics George, I have pics I took of my cousin & her Hubby doing silly dancing in front of that bridge ( must be a family trait, silly dancing that is ). Also just like Anna & Cray I spotted the restaurant( or eatery just next to the pub ) in a pics that I had lunch at with my cousin Donna. Wonder if it was the same one Anna mentioned.

Nah I spotted the one on the pier .. the big blue building with the red roof in the second pic .. at least I think that's it. Seafood resteraunt. We sat at one of the those windows and looked out over the scene in the next pic I seem to remember. Damn I'm gonna have to drag out the photos now and see if my memories are right. And I did, and I was right .. Muires it's called
