www.motorcyclehouse.com.au/viking-thor-series-small-saddlebags.htmHave a squiz at these guys and tell me what the downside is. Evidently I can fit these without needing to change the location of the indicators which I'd like to do. I don't need a huge storage area, and I realise these might be small, but that's not an issue. Anything else I'm missing?

The mounts are for a spirit .. not sure that they will fit your bike .. but other than that they look pretty good as long as you dont want a lot of space.

I followed the link through the Shadow Aero 750 section, and then spoke to the rep online. He said these would fit, and I wouldn't need to relocate my indicators. He also pointed me in the direction of the yamaha specific ones first, hence my hesitation. They seem good for the price. Small but good quality. I won't need a lot of space. Just room for day trips really, with my tyre repair kit and mini compressor.

Hi kevin the vt750c2 spirit is not much diff from the aero most things will fit, like pipes, seats etc they just have a bigger front dia wheel and wider rear otherwise not too much diff. cheers. spinal.

Hi anna checked out the bags but could not see what mounts for the bags you were referring too, they don't say weather they are through overs or you have to use mounts. cheers, spinal.

Yeah there is a link somewhere Spinal that says it fits the Aero, I just wasn't sure if that meant they would or wouldn't fit the 400. Thanks for adding that, something to keep in mind.

Well, I've taken the punt and ordered them. If they don't fit I can use them in the man-cave. I'll let y'all know how they fit etc. I'd love a set of $700+ k-drive hard panniers etc - but can't justify that sort of $$$'s at the moment.

Hey mate. I have the same bike. Took me forever to find bags that would fit but the ones I mounted sat no problem except the rear lights rubbed a little.like you I wanted to change the lights any way, both jobs easy. The bags I attached came with ties so I mounted them directly to bike. I got mine for $210 delivered over night to my door, from bikersgear.com.au
