Yesterday I received 2 Interphone Bluetooth intercom systems for helmets. These systems are certainly at the bottom of the scale when it comes to cost, only $99 for both from ebay. Although i have yet to try them on the road, they were easy to fit to the helmets and when paired to my phone there is plenty of volume to receive phone calls, not that I plan to do that while riding, or listen to music. When paired to the other headset the communication is clear and easy to use. The problem I have is that I can not work out how to pair to both the other helmet AND the phone at the same time. The instructions say there is automatic switching between intercom and phone but I can only get it to work paired to the phone OR the other helmet, one or the other, not both.
Does anyone have any experience with these systems or any advise?

Yeah, you probably got the same ones we did. Everything you say above is true with ours, I believe the the switching between phone and headset regards multiple pressing of red and blue buttons which I could never come to grips with. I tossed them because the the speakers were too big and caused discomfort.

I have interfone f5xt. Have used them with my wife for around 2 years generally trouble free almost every weekend. I can provide instructions if these are the same model (or similar). Paid a lot more than $100 for the pair though

Have the $,100 pair as well. Works fine as an intercom and automatically switches to the phone when a call comes in. Also great for listening to Pink Floyd and automatically switches to the phone when a call comes in. I have earpieces and microphone fitted to a Nolan and a KBC helmet. Very comfy in the Nolan, not so comfy in the KBC for reasons stated by Beerfrog, so obviously depends on the helmet.

We have sena smh10 very easy to use with gloves on. Also use moulded earplugs with speakers in.msound quality this way is amazing with music. Can still hear bike in background. Best of both worlds.
