After much deliberation about what I wanted in a bluetooth phone/intercom unit, I finally opted for this one. Kie Twin SetThe deciding factors for me was the price, $99 for 2 units, and the soft line microphone. I hate having those stiff boom mikes in your face. This has the option of a small mike on a wire that will sit nicely inside my full face helmet. I would also have liked the extra controller on the handle bar feature that some units have, but it's not available on this one. You can't have everything. This will make the day rides with my wife on the back more enjoyable as we can converse occasionally. Mind there will be times where it could be troublesome. Like last week, I was just about to enter a 15 kph uphill, left hand hairpin when a dirty big truck appeared round the corner half in my lane. As a result I had to enter the corner well left, keep up my speed on the steep incline and ended up exiting way on the other side of the road. Luckily nothing was coming but had my wife been on board she would have heard me going "oh F@#k". Not the most reassuring thing to hear from the guy up front. Anyway, just thought I'd put this out there in case anyone else is considering a bluetooth unit. It will be about 2 weeks before it gets here, but when it does I'll do a review.

looks an alright thing mate. Price wise yes a great package for sure . Hope it handles a downpour ok . Had me Scala g4 for a few yrs now and one unit went bung on the selector button after an almighty storm front i couldnt avoid. The other on is now a bit dicky from the same treatment . Still works . If i was to get another i,d be looking at something like that i reckon . Be interesting how they go . Keep us in the loop on how it performs . Dont worry about them words ,the good lady might of said the same if she was on the back and saw the truck . Cheers RAy
