Music in an intrinsic part of our culture/ persona. For me I love a wide variety of music from johnny cash to Norwegian thrash speed metal (wintersun, finntroll) yes I know what a mix but then again I'm still listening to records (no pirate copies available, thank god) anyway some of my favourite performers/albums that I listen to are Seasick Steve, Hank Williams 111,Johnny Cash, led zeppelin, cream, Rare earth, Eric Burdin and the animals as well as many others but these are the mainstay of my music faves . But then again what music/song is it that you can't bear to hear( my worst song is the icehouse song, Man of of colors. it was played at his funeral). While I willingly acknowledge I am old fashioned I prefer to listen to music more so than marketing.
For me though seasick steve is the man and a musical genius, due to the music he can make from a two and three string guitar and a stomp box www.youtube.com/watch?v=D3IZPBQEVDs&list=RDNnI2QQOB6fE&index=3

Depending on the mood I'm in I like anything from classical to (some) heavy metal, but I cannot stand (c)rap and techno head banging give me the sh!ts If I'm in a classical mood it has to be played LOUD as with rock. My 14yo granddaughter has followed in my footsteps and also likes Classical, as well as going for a ride with "Rampa"

I have my Dads vinyl collection. From Abba to Zeplin. Creedance, Willie Nelson, ACDC, Floyd, Blues Brothers, Janis Ian, Joan Armatrading, ELO, Rickie Lee Jones, Van Morrison. Makes for some of THE best bike riding tunes. Can usually see me bopping away on a long ride lol. Love most forms of music accept for heavy metal thrash. If it sounds like someone is vomiting, I can't really get into the groove. I enjoy the modern Top 40 too though, so most stuff in there is put on my phone. I asked my Dad to download the top 40 songs for me and he ended up getting the top 40 albums. Soooo many songs!

A fan of good country & pop musi and of course there,s JACK & BARNSY . Can listen to JF for hrs . Barnsy is an institution of ozzy rock and melodies ,so great to hear. DOnt like the head banger stuff though ,just something that is great to hear properly . Good 70-90,s rock is tops ,went down hill after that i reckon . Some may disagree but heck i,m getting older . I never got into motorhead growing up but find them great for longhaul riding. Bob Seger, Hendrix, Floyd, Led Zep, ZZ Top, Chisel, ACDC, Joe Satriani, Zappa also favourites.
