No t wanting to hijack Puffy's thread I thought I'd start this one What is/are your hobby/ies, appart from riding your bike that is I like to make things, mainly things that I need and could buy, but find it cheaper and more enjoyable to make my own such as a choofer, a cooking "devise" often made of an old gas bottle (such as ozpig) which can be used as a contained fire place when camping, or a cooking fire or even an oven, I had one like that but gave it to my daughter and SIL when I made this one from a stainless steel bucket, it all packs up to fit in a milk crate with the lid on it's a great oven and I have cooked roasts in and and baked bread I have made a few things, including some stone stompers for the back of the car to prevent dents on the front of the van, the real thing $300+, these cost me some time and bits I had lying around, the flaps were given to me actually these are the first attempt with some old floor mats (didn't work) so a mate gave me some truck mud flaps Many years ago (early 80s) i worked for 2 years with my dad (he was a baker pastry cook) in his shop and learnt to decorate cakes, I still dabble in it, mainly for family and my latest was our son and daughters wedding cake. I only use fresh or butter cream, this one was a sponge cake, sauced with 500ml of kirsch and decorated with butter cream it took me an hour to decorate, the flowers were bought So now it's up to you, other than riding, what are your hobbies Frank Attachments:

Hi all. I have a few hobbies, I love 4x4 driving and camping, fishing and boating, golf and of course my local footy club where I have been involved for around 16 years or so with all type of rolls from team manger to president. Watching my son play and now my grandson. I am very lucky that the good wife loves doing all the same which makes life so much easier.

Well! After reading all of your hobbies, I feel like a bore. I collect miniture cars, only because I appreciate classic styling and design. Wish I had more time to enjoy other things in life. I got my motorcycle licence and Shadow because I didn't have a hobby. I want to get my boat licence and learn to fly, and and and and, need more time.
