Hi again, can anyone advise of a good online website that sells VT400 parts EG brake pedal, foot pegs, blinkers, guards etc? If not online is there any where in NSW that specialises in Shadow parts?

Quite honestly if you local Honda dealer is not helpful try ebay. We seemed to get most stuff in from the UK these days.

Hi Boris, what spinal said plus .. are you looking for after market bling or oem bits? For after market there's a bunch of sites you can try, Ebay can be your friend, I get a lot of my stuff from Cruiser customising (america) www.cruisercustomizing.com/ or theres Motosport who I havent bought from yet but has a good range from what I can see from window shopping www.motosport.com/AU/cruiser/cruiser-parts OEM too .. another oem site is www.hondapartshouse.com/oemparts/c/honda_motorcycle/parts and the other place I haven't bought from but have window shopped a lot at is Meancycles www.meancycles.com/By the way just noticed that cruiser customising has a shipping special on 50% off shipping on orders over $200 - use the coupon AU50T CC does specials and deals quite often and the shipping can be a killer sometimes so good to take advantage of the shipping deals when they come along .. or wait til the next one if you miss out, one will be along soon Anyway good luck with your shopping, sorry I couldn't help with an Aussie supplier, if you go to your honda dealer you'll find the cost of thier factory bits way too expensive so I wouldn't suggest that, but the one thing is, at least it will fit properly. There is an aussie site somewhere that I had bookmarked but hadn't bought from but I lost the bookmark when me 'puter broke and cant remember the name, one or two of the other nsw guys have used it though I think, so someone should come along soon and tell their name. Welcome to the group (cause I think I haven't said that yet ) and happy riding

Hi all, thanks for taking the time on the replies. Especially your detailed post Annastasia. I"m after a rear brake pedal but in no rush. Mines been slightly bent but I bent it nearly back into position. Also one of the foot pegs has a slight upward angle but I can cope with it. I thought I might leave replacing them till I'm more competent myself in case I do some damage too.

So, am I correct in thinking that VT 750 accessories (rear carrier, floor boards, foot pegs etc) are interchangeable with a VT400? Cheers, David.

Cheers, David. depends on the year of your vt400 if the rear fender rail is curved it's the 750 ace model that fits as far as the rear carrier and sissy bar go's. if it's straight it's the 750 aero model 2004 and up.foot pegs, handle bar grips ,floorboards all the same. hope this helps, cheers, spinal.
