G'day All,
Yes I'm still alive and kicking. Just wanted to let everyone know that I'm giving SRA members a 10% discount on "in stock" products until 5pm Wednesday the 19th November 2014. If your interested:
1) Send me an email at [e-mail] with your bike's year and model and what parts your after (manufacturer & part number is fine), your post code and your SRA number or screen name,
2) If they are in stock I will let you know total price including shipping.
3) If you want to purchase the items then let me know (or send me the funds through Paypal) and I will send you a request for funds through Paypal or you can deposit the money directly into our bank account (details will be provided).
4) Once payment is received, the items will be shipped either that day or next working day. You will then be emailed the tracking number if applicable.

*** If your order is under $500 (not including shipping/p&h) your discount is 10% ***
*** If your order is $500 or more (not including shipping/p&h) I will increase your discount to 15%. ***
*** If your order is $1200 or more (not including shipping/p&h) I will increase your discount to 20% ***

If you/family/friends have bikes other than Honda Shadows (VT400, VT750, VT1100, VTX1300S, VTX1800C, VT1300CXA Fury) am willing to give the same discount as long as an SRA member is the agent/point of contact. ie. you not only can buy parts for your Shadow but also for a Kawasaki Vulcan, Harley Davidson, etc.

To be fair to everyone, it will be first to pay gets the items. I will not hold orders while you think about it, consult your missus/old man/astrologist or wait until pay day.

Stock is limited.

Fine print.
- You are responsible for providing me with the exact year and model of your bike. If your bike is a grey import then please let me know, otherwise send me your VIN as well (as stamped on the engine & frame).
- Orders must be paid for in full (with us receiving the money) no later than 12pm Thursday the 20th November 2014.
- Discount only applies to instock items only.
- Discount does not apply to special order items or shipping/postage & handling costs.
- Group orders are ok, but I will only ship to 1 location. Postage from that location onwards is the responsibility of the buyers and their authorised agent.
- There are no refunds for incorrect items due to you providing incorrect information (ie you say your bike is an Aero but it's an ACE or 2012 model but it's a 2003 grey import) or if you change your mind.
- All other consumer rights as per Australian law will be honoured.

Where does the consumer stand after sending you all the correct identifiers and you send out the wrong item but insist its the right one for the model described.
Who judicates ??
How it that resolved??
Its happened and I ordered over the counter, still they insisted they were right until I asked them to fit it.

These are the normal conditions, if you read the fine print on any online website you will find a lot more. At least I am upfront about it so you can make an informed choice on the matter. I have these conditions because I have had in the past dishonest people who will order an incorrect part and then try to blame it on me. This has cost me thousands of dollars over the years. Now, I am also based in Australia and I know the bikes that have previously and currently sold here. As an example I know the difference between a VTX1800C and the VTX1800N, specs 1, 2 and 3. I know what parts fit which bike and as I specialise in metric bikes I know what I'm talking about. If you would read the original post you would also know that your consumer rights under Australian law are also protected. Trying buying from overseas where once they have your money you are not their problem anymore.
I've been part of this forum for a few years and I stand by my word as others can attest to. If you don't wish to purchase any items, then that's fine and I wish you good luck in finding quality parts with an Australian business that will support members of the SRA.

Riders i will vouch Simon,s credibility here . He has been a very helpfull member in the early years of SRA helping riders out with mechanical problems . If Simon says he will do .

We can't even get our local Honda Dealers staff to even ask if they can help us while waiting at the desk in the back of their store.

Terms and conditions are reasonable and expected. They do not replace consumer rights as per Au law. Consumers have responsibilities to provide all the correct details.

Sucks that I'm a broke student atm there's a few things I'd like to get and a discount like that is hard to pass up. Oh well next time ...

I've bought from Simon b4 guys and he's very helpful and fair dinkum, will buy from him again without hesitation.

Im glad that's all sorted. Simon has been a great supporter of SRA since the start and I have bought from him a number of times before, he is very upfront and after sale service is great.

X is going strong as the first day I got it.32k on the clock
Not many in 6 yrs but 6k of that in last 6 months.so she is getting used and abused. Lol
