I woke up this morning to find my wife had been to the garage earlier & left the door open. Then our 1 year old Rhodesian Ridgeback had gone in there, dragged my $400 KBC helmet off the shelf and proceeded to rip out the lining and lacerated it, as well as dragging the shell across the drive & leaving it covered in scratches. You can imagine I was cranky as hell and a bit devastated when I saw the damage. So my 3 month old helmet is now useless. Down to Sydney City Motorcycles to get a replacement. I ended up with a Shark RSF3 plus a spare tinted visor for $400. Nice looking helmet, a bit tight around the cheeks but I'm sure time & use will cure that. However I do find it quite a bit noisier than my KBC. Anyway I'm stuck with it now. This one will reside on a hook high up on the garage wall .

After the performance I put on the dog won't come near me. I will cool down eventually & she is a beautiful beast. Time heals.

Haven't thought about a new lining, she also destroyed the trim around the base of the opening. Not sure if that's part of the lining or separate. Anyway I needed a replacement immediately as the bike is my only form of transport. I would have gone for the same brand but the shop didn't carry many of them, only open face numbers. They said something about KBC being in close competition with Shark & they didn't want to stock a full range of both.

Excellent - time for a new helmet...and she pays for leaving the door open.

Could've been worse, my helmet was $800 just because of the graphics, Mine lives on the sissy bar when its not on my head so the dogs can get at it, God help them if ever they did.
