hey guys, i have a vt400 2011 model and just visited mcas auburn to findout more about their vance and hines short shots. They told me that i could purchase the pipes for the 750aero and hope they would fit on the vt400 but there is no conclusive information stating that it does. if i do decide to buy these pipes then i will not beable to refund them. do you guys know for 100% that they will fit as this seems abit risky. thanks

Had a mate put 09 750 pipes on his 2010 400 . no worries . Normally we tell most newbies order for the 750 to for the 400 .Same frame ,same motor just sleeved. The only thing the short shots most likely wont have is the 02sensor holes in them . However this can be bypassed with diodes. Or get somene to drill holes and tig on the nuts for the 2 sensors to fit in .Can be done by someone that is good at his job . Hope this helps . If you also look on the custom cruiser site in USA there should be a listing of those pipes to fit the 400. Cheers Ray

Cooee Roman. The pipes will fit OK. Mate had them on his. Oh and as you are shopping at Auburn, does that mean you are local. If so and you want a ride buddy let me or others know.

Hi Roman, I had them on my Vt400, they sound great, only took them off because I am selling the bike. they are as new and for sale at $350 plus freight from Brisbane. They have the O2 sensor bungs welded in too.

No aftermarket pipes come with the o2 censer holes already in them,if you want to use them you'll have to get them put in. if by passing them with o2 eliminators, bike shop should have them or ebay, link---- www.ebay.com/itm/Oxygen-o2-sensor-eliminator-Honda-VT-750-C-Shadow-2008-2014-/260961316462cheers, spinal

already have the filter, whats de-snorkeling? If you have a look on the video link i posted at the top, you remove the hoses on the back of your air box to let more air in.
