Hi Wendy Witch, Falling asleep on the back of a motorcycle is not normal behaviour. I have had a similar problem - I was standing up in the POSSIBLE SPAM POST - PLEASE REPORT kitchen at 7.00 am (after sleeping restlessly all night) - I fell asleep and put my head through the oven door - wound up in hospital. Check out sleep apnea and cpap machines - I hope your 14 year old doesn't need one but it does wonders for me in terms of a full nights sleep.

Thanks for your concern davidu, We made it to Qld and back without incident. We did work out the cause of the drowsyness. He was overdressed when we set out around home and the vents on the helmet where indeed closed. The terrible weather prevented overheating and opening the vents improved airflow. Cheers WWxx Sent from my SM-N9007 using proboards
