Well my wee man and I have been getting some practice time in ready for the AGM.
Me - newly off my P's and new to having a Pillion.
We man - new to being a Pillion but almost always being the first to sleep in the car.
We have done some short runs and my wee man is so comfortable he falls asleep. Frankly this is freaking me out a bit. I worried sick he will fall off.
Any advise please.

I do not know how big he is,but you can use a long belt and strap him to you.I have done this in the past.

Hi Wendy, not having a good air flow through the helmet can cause drowsyness due to a build up off carbon dioxide this is more common in cool climates because of the use of neck warmers and the like. Azza

Azza Thanks Azza. He hasn't been wearing one but I'll check and open up his vents all the same. Hadn't thought of airflow. Sent from my SM-N9007 using proboards

Hi Wendy, Perhaps a helmet intercom to chat and keep him awake and when he appears to be dozing off, stop and have him do some exercises. You DO NOT want to be fighting the bike and a pillion to stay upright and safe - not good with 40 years experience let alone 5 years, no matter how good you are. Personally I'd speak to my GP and ask if caffeine or whatever might help. Cheers ... Mark

Thanks Mark We have those. Someone did suggest to check the airflow on his helmet. I'll make sure to set all the vents open.

Use a Velcro belt hey! What about a custom made arm rests? Like the Goldwing rear seats. Could make one. Something that slips over the sissy bag seat rest maybe? Getting inventive now. I occasionally suffer from sleepy pillion syndrome lol. But last time it happened she did stay on the back. I knew she was there as her helmet was leaning on my backpack lol. Music is good too, in the helmet. Hope you find something that helps.

Thanks Louisa.
I will make sure his vents are open and I think cooler clothing. He may have been over dressed and too warm. I'll think on the arm chair idea.

Hi Wendy. My pillion always has a bit of a nap now and then, Make sure he gets a good nights sleep before you set off in the mornings and don't make things to comfy for him and he should be right. If all fails tie a piece of string to the back rest and his helment so if his head drops as he doses the jerk will awake him. Ps, try to break the ride a little more often than usual that will keep him alert.

Thanks Spanner,
After much research I have found an idea for arm rests. I am looking to bulk up the sides.
I have also considered that he may have been too warm so I will strip out the lining of his jacket unless it is really needed.
Cheers WWxx
