Hi all just want to know if anyone finds that the VT250C shadow is heavy on the steering ,my wifes bike has really heavy steering making it hard to ride so i replaced the steering head bearings even through teammoto said they are fine, top one came out in pieces bottom was ok . Took it for a ride and its still hard to ride yet take the weight off and goes side to side freely its doing my head in was thinking maybe going for a thinner tyre as its got original wide dunlops 120/90, 17 have never rode one before so dont know if its normal my 2004 VT400 rides like a dream and is a bigger and heavier bike

Plus check the age of your tyres. On the side of the tyre there is a group of four numbers, first two number represent the week of the year that the tyre was manufactured, the next two digits indicate the year of manufacture.
eg: 1298 means the tyre was manufactures in the twelfth week of 1998. Any tyre more than 5 years old may be perished. I would replace anything over 5 years old regardless of how good the tread is.

I'd be giving teammoto a revup about their "service" mate
