Just wondering if there are any problems with the group//site//winter doldrums - anything. Other than a great ride report from the Mexicans and ride organisation from the Banana Benders, in the past 5 days there has been a couple of entries on the chat thingy, a birthday wish or two and that's about it - hardly dynamic and not a lot to entice new members (or keep existing members interested in the site). I know it is easy to criticise but I'm worried about the health and longevity of SRA if the enthusiasm demonstrated in the past week continues. I know we all lead busy lives but if a little effort isn't made to keep the spirit going, SRA will disappear up its fundamental orifice. Just my thoughts and if anyone is offended then I humbly apologise.
King regards ... Mark

Not me Langers! I'm ready and waiting to comment on anything. But I know what you mean, there was one period there when there was nothing posted .. not even from Queensland .. for about three or four days. Someone told me a lot of people just use Facebook now. :shrug .. who knows. Once Cray and I get the bikes back out I'll probably have more to say

Share your concerns Langers. Thanks . Annastasia has my thoughts there as well. FB is an easier medium for most unfortunately. Having said that i will not knock anyone for it .Ones choice . I just keep posting in hope of comments to rides or whatever. Winter has slowed things up a bit as far as rides goes i suppose so we'll see how things progress Cheers

Hi all. could not agree more the forum has been a bit slow and quite for the past couple of months. I don't go on face book a lot but I do have a look sometimes and I have noticed that there are people on there that I have not seen any comments from on the forum. That is there prerogative and I respect that. But as for what langers said re the SRA might die in the arse I don't believe it will as long as you have the same dedicated people that love to catch up go for ride or a trip together that is where all the fun is at least that's what I can see when us Vics get together. ( I love it since I have been a member I have meet some great and friendly people which I would not have meet if I did not join) it does not take long to hope the forum once a week and just shout hello to all. Regards Spanner,

Regards Spanner, Well said Spanner . Yes its easier than some think. Nothing better than chucking oneself over the iron horse and riding with ya mates . Sometimes a lot of them sometimes not .Not the quanity ,just the quality that counts . Might be time for a BBQ lol.

Hi folks I'm sure SRA will go from strength to strength, I was just a bit concerned no one was caring. Re FaceBook - I avoid it like the plague (having been "unfriended" because I stirred up a passionate cat lover over cats predilection to indiscriminately kill all native fauna), not to mention I couldn't give a fat rats clacker about what a person was eating or about to eat or where they were eating or any other mindless drivel people seem to need to tell you about. Anyway, with the weather about to warm up I'm sure we'll see a bit more activity.
Cheers ... Mark
