I have been overwhelmed by the support shown by phone calls, emails and the SRA forum and (although I don't use it, Facebook!!). I have even received messages of support from people I have never met. For that I thank everyone and I cannot express how much it means to me. Please let me make it clear, I am not resigning from SRA. I am only resigning as the President due to the reasons outlined in my email. I will still ride with all my SRA friends and I will still attend the AGoM in NSW, I will still be an active, but just as an everyday member. etc. SRA will NOT collapse and we will not see mass resignations or anything dramatic like that. Shadow Riders Australia is a great group with many great people. I am currently working with others and I am very confident that some positive outcomes will be achieved that will see SRA grow bigger and better. Once again thank you. And as Wendy Witch said above, there is no benefit in pointing fingers and naming names. All that will do is create conflict and division which no-one wants to see. Lets move forward and create a positive outcome. So I have to put my pitchfork and flaming torch away? All jokes aside. Sad to see you step down.

I joined this group when I purchased my shadow as a way of being in touch with likeminded people and as a way of getting a bit of knowledge and information about the bike. I haven't been on any rides and I do not post things very often but it is dissappointing to read things about unrest within the group. It seems with every volunteer organisation the majority of the work is done by a few people to the benefit of the rest of the members and then there is a small group who stand on the sidelines and try to white ant what the organisers are trying to do. I don't know what is causing the unrest but to those who are at the centre of it, grow up, either help or leave the group.
