GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD MOOOOOOOOOOOOOORING Its is with great pleasure that I announce the arrival of Tait James ASH Born to Amanda and David last night at 8.13 pm (I had to wait for them to make an announcement on FB before I could blab) at the Flinders medical centre 5lb12 (2,620kg) 6 weeks early (just as well as he would have been a BIG bub) both Mum and bub are doing well he is in a humicrib at the moment but they expect him to be out of it by this afternoon as he is breathing on his own and going great guns he is being fed thought a gavage tube but only till he gets enough strength to feed on his own which he is trying hard to do  |

Granddaughter we have, she's 16, to Amanda as well that's why Tait is such a surprise after so long
We have 6 stepgrandsons and one stepgraddaughter as well but this is our first blood grandson so now we have one of each

Tait came home yesterday, a great start to the new year he only lost 180gm all up and is now 100 over his birth weight, gavage tube is out and he is getting on his own
Still mostly sleeps as he is really -4 weeks so has to be woken up for feeds he should start walking on his own in a week or so

Sounds like he's doing great Frank tho I do think your expectations are a little high .. might take him a touch more than a week to start walking on his own ya think? |
