I have to replace my rear tyre. When I bought the bike it had a Dunlop tyre on the front and back. I have made enquiries at some local bike shops and the options seem limited to Dunlop, Bridgestone or Metzler. Any advise on the best option would be appreciated. Thanks

I am also having to replace tyres and was wondering if anybody has any opinions on Michelin or Pirelli tyres as opposed to the Dunlop or Bridgestone and if anyone can recommend a place either in Albury/Wodonga or Wangaratta please again any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Ras My 2 cents - I run Michelin front and back, the Back is 170/80 B15 so slightly wider than standard. It fits ok, looks good and this is the second set I've bought and I'm happy with the mileage more than 20K. The compound is a bit harder than the Dunlops so rode carefully for the first 1000k. Michelins claim to get astounding mileage but being French I think they are prone to exaggeration.
Cheers ... Mark
