Has anyone tried the compressed air method of dent removal on tanks - heat then cold compressed air? If so how did it work out? I am going to give it a try on mine in the next few days. Will post the results.

It looks deeper in the photos than it actually is. Has been there since I bought the bike but would be nice to get rid of it!

Had a crack at this today. It seems a little shallower, but I couldn't get the metal hot enough with the hair dryer. Going to get a heat gun and see how I go. Will post a pick of progress tomorrow.

Interesting, would never have thought of the mobile phone suction cap. Up there for thinking! I've had a dent in my tank for years - result of a coconut falling on it when I was travelling around Cairns. Never bothered to try removing it.
