Boots I need to buy some riding boots! What do you wear? Would you buy them again? What's so good about them? and any other comments you wish to mention. Went for a ride today in a pair of steel toe work boots - the toe box was too big and had trouble getting toes under the shifter! won't be wearing those again Have a pair of leather lace up boots (just every day boots similar to Doc Martins) that are perfect but have no protection whatsoever.

Asking the missus she has the johnny rebs boots also the redback slip on boot is available thru rays camping without the steelcap also genuine doc martins are pretty good, being a female the missus has to have more than one pair of shoes for the bike. Cash converters or your local pawn shop may have what you need.

Hi Dee, I tried a few different riding boots before I settled on Alpine Stars women's boot. Cant remember the exact name for them but there aren't an awful lot of womens boot available so wouldn't be hard to find them. I've had them for 3 or 4 years and not looking to replace them yet .. waterproof and super comfy and also a bonus for me they dont slip on the road when I'm stopped (a problem i had with all other boots) ... I'll try to post a photo for you.

I wear leather hiking boots from Rivers. I was advised against steel caps as in case of an off you can loose your toes.
