Hey guys & gals
How's things I've been putting the Ks on the VT 400 and having a blast, she really is a great Bike. I even managed a weekend away up to Jindabyne, man Charlottes Pass is an awesome bit of road.
I've managed to get a few dollars saved & now looking at getting some highway bars, a back rest luggage / rack combo & some saddle bag supports & I was wondering what others here have purchased, where they purchased them from & what they thought of them once installed used.
I've looked at kakahealthare & gobid88 they look good & some US sites where I've been looking at the 750 aero parts 2004 & above. But before I order I thought Id get some first hand reviews.
So if you have any reviews or advice on any of the above parts or any others you have done & where you got them from I would greatly appreciate your feedback
Cheers
Chillie

I just spend time on eBay and US forums looking at what others are doing.
I just bought a set of Cobra highway bars for my Aero from a place called Midwest Motorcycle spares about $100 cheaper than anywhere else.
Try and buy Cobra, Lindby or other known brand Highway bars - the cheaper ones attach at the top radiator bolt and are not very strong, plenty of info on the forums about them coming loose and shearing the radiator bolt.
Racks are easy, I bought support plates off eBay and found a generic Backrest and rack at a garage sale for $5, perfect fit!
My advice is spend the extra $$$ on stuff you know will fit and work well i.e. cobra and other known/proven brands

Yes Chille 04 upwards in AERO model is the same bar for brakes and muffler system. 08 upwards are all the same for those .They changed the muffler system and brake caliper side from 08 though the muffler system will exchange with a slight mod. Also if you order for a 750 you will find more parts readily available. They are all interchangeable .From 08 upwards .
Cheers Ray
