I have replaced the indicators on my 2010 VT400 with metal cased black lensed indicators. Looks awesome, but keeps blowing the fuse. I have soldered the wiring, shrink wrapped it and double checked it.
I did the rear 2 first and they worked for a while, then the fuse blew whilst riding. Changed the front 2 over, now the fuse blows as soon as they are put on.
Not sure if this has anything to do with the rubber pieces on the original indicators putting a 'buffer' between the unit and the bike earth?
Anyone else had this issue. Would like to avoid the cost of taking it to an autoelec.
Cheers.

Was thinking of using a rubber washer or something like that as the next stop.
