Riding home in the rain last week and stopped at a roundabout. The 4wd behind me had stopped and then for a reason known only to him decided to take off, rear end me and shunt me 2 feet forward, luckily the shadow stayed upright. Side stand down, kill switch to off and I literally vaulted off the bike. The driver of the Pajero got out and admitted it was his fault, that may in part be due to the profanities I was directing at him. The shad top box on my bike took the force of the impact (couple of scratches to some stickers), obviously money does buy quality, bought the top box and panniers many moons ago for a FJ1200. The plastic grill on the 2017 Pajero Sport on the other hand was impressively cracked and broken. I never thought I'd have a bike v 4wd rear collision and have the 4wd come off worse, I'd love to see the bloke explain to his mates how his 4wd came off 2nd best.

Glad you are okay and the bike is (relatively)unscathed. One of the worst things that can happen is to get rear ended. Kudos for keeping it shiny side up!

Yep, there certainly are some morons on the road that make life interesting. Glad you are OK though.
