You need to build it good & strong so it's safe for all the family. Try searching for a Sidecar forum & asking there. I did a quick search & found this. Scroll down to the Sidecar sub-forum. www.classicmotorcycling.com.au/forums/forum.asp?FORUM... It's a classic motorcycle forum but it may be some help. There seems to be plenty of US & UK forums on the subject. Good luck.

I came across the SRK site too but I was under the impression matandbek wanted to build his own rather than buy one.

SRK may be able to give them some info in regards to building one and what the legal requirements are.

wow thanks guys.. yes ive seen srk, and they even have a set of plans for sale. im not sure of how legal would apply here in aussie, but im sure i can modify it to suit..
thanks simon thats a great pik, youtube had one for a vlx but i rekon its a 70 ace (even one comment of it being an ace)
im sure my bike would be capeable of lugging a sidecar around once in a while.
i have 2 bike so its not realy an issue..

SRK are located in Bathurst, NSW so the plans should be good to go in terms of compliance.
