I also check out another cruiser forum, Alternative Cruisers or ACD. Many of the members are from USA and at the moment they're all talking about taking their last ride of the season and storing their bikes for the winter. How lucky we are here to be able to ride all year round. I couldn't imagine giving it up for several months every year like many of our American brothers have to do. Another reason why we are the lucky country I guess.
