OK not really a classroom thingy, but kinda is. Did my rider training today and after a lot of heartache getting used to a completely different bike, I managed to learn a bunch of great stuff .. like how to get on a bike .. who woulda thought all this time I've been doing it wrong. But I also learnt how to do the dreaded U-Turn and I passed my test ;D After all this I also did the best e-brake in the class ... wow ya's did teach me something

here i am picturing you hopping on the bike like the three amigos mount a horse, you know - run up from behind and leap into the air landing on the seat. glad they sorted you out Well done on the pass and learning how to do those pesky u-turns.

Congrats!!
Hmm, there's a couple of ways to mount your ride.. however its how you choose to ride it that makes it enjoyable for you.. I tried googling karma sutra riding positions but came up with some non relevant images.. As long as my missus doesn't look through my web history it'll be fine.. LOL

Congrats on the pass, I'm not a big fan of u-turns either. Don't think I could do much of the maneuvers required for the test these days. Riding 1 day every 2 to 3 months doesn't help either.
You could try mounting in the style of the, is she a princess? Her attendant in "men in tights". Of course, if your bike runs off, then your in serious trouble!!

It's not how you mount, it's how you handle the ride ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D Well said George, I agree completely! Because of where I have to park my girl, I have no choice but to get on her on the wrong side... but it doesn't affect the fun!! Cheers, Breezy
